Taylor Kitsch Teases 'Friday Night Lights' Movie... Without Tim Riggins?
He may have cut off his hair. He might be in a movie with Rihanna now. And perhaps he'll become the next big action star. But ask anyone who watched "Friday Night Lights" until the very end and they'll tell you Taylor Kitsch will always be #33, big Tim Riggins. So when he took some time to sit with MTV News, Josh Horowitz just had to ask about Kyle Chandler's incredibly cathartic Emmys win and talk of a big screen adaptation from Peter Berg. Due to his work on the upcoming Oliver Stone flick, "Savages" with Aaron Johnson and Blake Lively, Kitsch couldn't make it to the Emmys last month, but he made sure Chandler, the "spine of the show," knew he was happy for him. "I lit him up with a bunch of text. He's an amazing guy," says Kitsch, who called the win a "no-brainer." Now that the show has officially—and sadly—ended, the real question is whether director Peter Berg will follow through on his plans to make a movie that would continue the story from the series. "I've heard what you hear," Kitsch says. "I hear hearsay and all this kind of stuff. If Pete sets his mind to something, he'll usually get it done." Some fans have expressed hesistation to revisit the Taylors and Rigginses, and Kitsch has some of his own reservations. "I loved the way I left Riggs," Kitsch says. "You never know, maybe a little cameo or something. We'll see if he even wants me in it." Would you watch a "Friday Night Lights" movie without Riggs? Tell us in the comments section and on Twitter!
