Winds cause studio energy black outs

The gusty winds that raked the Southland produced head aches for galleries and filmmakers but did not have the symptoms of left any major damage. Areas of the Vital lot on Melrose Avenue and CBS's Hollywood galleries were without energy Thursday morning however the lots continued to be open. Reps for Disney, Warner Bros., Fox, The new sony and Universal reported Thursday their facilities were operating as always. The Town of los angeles Park Film Office was instructed to close because of a energy outage from high winds and being short-staffed because they need to survey property for damage, based on FilmL.A.'s Todd Lindgren.
