Pilot Season: Tara's Brie Larson to Co-Star in CBS' Nick Stoller Comedy

John Goodman and Roseanne Barr This fall, the systems wish to party like it's 1992. It had been two decades ago that stars like Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Kirstie Alley and John Stamos ruled the sitcom world. Now they are all back, and signed onto star in new comedy aircraft pilots this spring. The popularity began this year with Tim Allen's effective go back to TV because the star of ABC's Last Guy Standing. Allen introduced a familiar, identifiable quality towards the show, which makes it a comparatively easy target audiences. Now other 1990's stars are eager revisit their TV-comedy roots. Barr (Roseanne's Nuts) and Alley (Dwts) most lately starred the truth is-Television shows Goodman and Stamos are coming off dramas (Damages and ER, correspondingly). In NBC's Downwardly Mobile, Barr stars because the manager of the mobile-home park, and Goodman, getting back together with his Roseanne wife, will have her renovator. Full House's Stamos plays a guy who finds out he's a delinquent half brother within the Fox pilot My Little Brother. And Alley stars with fellow Cheers alum Rhea Perlman included in a boisterous Italian family on ABC's The Manzanis. "They're legendary TV stars," states one network executive.
